History
The concept of our company was formed in the early 1990s as an accounting service company formerly known as Michelle Becker, Inc. As owner and President, Michelle Becker became a leading provider of accounting services and systems for small businesses in the Wichita community with a unique customer service approach. This approach has created many successful, long-term partnerships with business owners in a variety of industries over the past twenty years. Her extensive background that included the installation, training and support of MAS90 accounting systems and her ability to apply years of accounting experience created a winning combination.
In the fall of 2004, Michelle Becker and Sam Oglesby began discussions which led to transforming Michelle Becker, Inc. to Profit Builders, Inc. Michelle and Sam had been colleagues years before when they worked together at the Pizza Hut headquarters in Wichita. Their mutual respect, formed at that time, became the foundation for their partnership. Sam's significant background in restaurant accounting opened a new industry segment to the company.
In the years since, Profit Builders, Inc. has focused on providing quality services that suit each customer's needs through the development of dedicated staff, an investment in powerful accounting systems and the integration of technology to enhance our processes. The Profit Builders, Inc. restaurant customer base has grown to include leading franchisees of Hardees, YUM Brands, Papa Johns and Qdoba restaurants as well as customers in a variety of other industries. The relationship with our customers is the foundation of our growth with customer referrals as our primary source of new business. Today, Profit Builders, Inc. services customers in 25 states.

Michelle Becker
Michelle has built an outstanding outsource accounting services business over the past 16 years. Her prior background includes positions with Pizza Hut, Inc. in Restaurant Accounting, and several years of accounting system conversions and training. Since 1990, Michelle has become a MAS 90 expert which is Profit Builder's current accounting platform. Michelle's demonstrated customer focus is evident by her long term client relationships and advisory role with some of the largest builders and entrepreneurs in the Wichita area. Michelle holds a BS in Accounting from Friends University.
Sam Oglesby
Sam has spent a majority of his career in restaurant accounting. Sam's most recent experience was with Franchise Services Company which provides outsourced accounting services to the restaurant industry. In the role of Senior Manager at FSC, Sam was responsible of all aspect of accounting services for a wide range of restaurant concepts including Hardee's, Papa Johns, Applebees, Qdoba Mexican Grill, Church's Chicken and others. Prior to FSC, Sam was with Pizza Hut, Inc for 13 years. At Pizza Hut, Inc., Sam most recently held the position of Senior Accounting Manager and was responsible for the financial reporting for 4,500 corporate owned restaurants. Sam also spent 2 years with Ernest and Young, CPA where his focus was Taxation. Sam holds a BS in Accounting from Colorado State University.
